Hi all,
Some time ago I mentioned the work of George Boudreau, a Toronto-based
audio hardware engineer working on the
https://code.google.com/p/sdr-widget/ open source project. This project
has designed an inexpensive USB DAC which might be very handy for
Airtime servers:

Several companies will build the design for you. The fully assembled
versions with a case and RCA outputs retail at US $169:

=A390 in the UK:
http://epiphany-acoustics.co.uk/products-page/dacs/e-dac-24bit-miniature-=
usb-dac/
or 135 CHF in Switzerland:
http://www.headnhifi.com/odac-rca
I'm going to order the UK model and test it out.
Cheers!
Daniel
